Hi,
I'm pretty impressed with MonoSlideshow.
I played a bit in the DEMO section and bought it after 10 minutes :)
It gives a lot of freedom to customize. However, nobody's perfect ;)
It would be cool to have an option to make the Image Info bar displayed within the photo.
There is an option to align it to the bottom, top, left etc. of the whole stage
but no possibility to alight it to the bottom, top, left etc. of the currently displayed photo.
Of course I can position it manually but it will not work if different photos have different aspect ratio or size.
Or maybe there is a way to do that already and I'm just blind ;)
Thanks
...and even more cool if the same could apply to the thumbnails and the control panel as well.
I could do a gallery with a big or even full screen photos and keep all the stuff within the photo :D
Thanks
Hi,
what is your problem exactly? My Image Info bar (with title and description) is always within the image area.
Have you tried adjusting
<code>imageInfoMarginX="97"
imageInfoMarginY="5"</code>
My stage is exactly the size of my photos.
Christoph
But you are setting up your stage size once and it is a fixed size - right ?
Here is what I mean.

The same about aligning thumbnails and controls.
Instead of aligning it to the stage once it could be
adjusting its position automatically depending on dimensions of your every photo.
Heh... OK I got what you mean...
It is just because I don't know much about all this xml and html stuff ;)
any ways... I need to edit xml by hand by putting desired values for every photo.
If I have hundreds of them it becomes a bit hard.
I'm waiting for this to be automated in next version of MonoSlideShow :D
Cheers
Martin,
in case you don't already use it: Go to http://theturninggate.net/blog/ttg-monoslideshow-gallery.
With this (and Lightroom) you can automate most of the task other than individual Ken Burn effects.
If you don't use Lightroom yet, you can use the 30-days trial and get your job done (but if you got "hundreds of them", how can one live without Lightroom? :-)
Christoph
Thanks,
I'm just trying to implement Lightroom to my pipeline, so I got MonoSlideShow as well :)
I will have a look at the link you posted.
