Hello,
Could be great to have an option to add a border around the image.
Beside adjustable thickness all around it could have an option to make polaroid-like border
with separated adjustment for the bottom part thickness.
For now I need to make the borders manually within the image file.
The problem appears when I want to use Ken Burns effect because obviously the border does not stay in place.
It could be cool if the image could use the effect being constantly, nicely framed.
Thank you
Well, that one is easy:
You create the border as an image with a transparent rectangle in the middle and assign it via css to the div.
If the inner border shall not be a rectangle, but a little fuzzy, it should work to create a separate div with a higher z-index and assign the image to this div (but I haven't tried this; I don't know if Flash will put itself really behind the topmost layer or not).

Another solution would be to create the border as a SWF file and set it as the markFile for the slideshow. You would need to have all of your images the same orientation, however; all landscapes, or all portraits to match the markFile.
(for details on markFile settings, consult the manual PDF)
I think this would be a great addition also... I just went looking to do exactly that and was bumed there was no border option. Even a few simple boarder thickness on all sides would be nice but a resizable image boarder would be great.
Agreed. Let's hope Monokai makes note of it for a future update. I know he's keeping a list. ;)
