Hello - MSS was exactly the piece I was looking for, and once I figured out a few config details it worked very well on the first FTP. I am very happy with it so far.

My new homepage is <a href="http://stevencherry.com">HERE</a>

I set it up to what I think is best for 1024x768 which appears to be the major share of resolutions used now, but it should be fine in widescreen too. I am open to any critique and feedback.

    Hi Steve,

I'm glad it worked! Nice site and photos!! You could center your homepage, that's how i like to set up my websites. One thing you should check is your source-code, you got the doctype, html declaration and the head part twice...cheers, jan

Thank you Jan - I am afraid I am a better photog than web designer - would you mind pointing me in the right direction to add code for centering this? Sounds like something I can also research but maybe you have a simple solution for that?

And ..thanks for pointing out the source code redundancies - I will get in there and fix that.

    Best regards to you, Steve

    Hi Steve,

place this div after your opening <body> tag:

    <div style="width:800px; height: 600px; position:absolute; left: 50%; margin-left: -400px; border: 1px solid #fff;">

and close it before your closing </body> tag:
    </div></body>

the white border is just for showing you the dimensions of the wrapping div, you can delete the border-part "border: 1px solid #fff;". if you widen the div, make sure to change the margin part as well. for example, a 900px wide div would have a margin-left of -450px...
is there a reason you gave the body of your website a height of 288px?

    best regards, jan

Can I get some assistance on embedding my finished Slideshow into my site - I found the short parargraph in the manual insufficient for getting my slideshow into my site and now I am a bit frustrated. Cant figure the config details. SteveCherry, your homepage looks great, can you help at all??

    Many thanks,

    Kevin

Jan - Thanks for that line of code - that does indeed center it horizontally, but now I am not so happy with it on large screens (such as 1280x1024) because it seems tiny and not centered vertically. Is there a similar line that will position it vertically?

Kevin - That was a bit of an issue for me but not too bad depending on what html editor you are using. Many editors have a re-sizeable html or flash "box" you can insert into the editor and then position. Real code experts here like sharkbait will probably wince when I tell you that I am using a really cool WYSIWYG app called WYSIWYG Web Builder: <a href="http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com"> I have tried just about every single app you can think of and this little guy blows me away. I am sure the code is not up to pro standards, but for the small guy like me it really does the job and makes the insert of this slideshow really easy.
