    I'd like the Ken Burns effect to be switchable on and off via a user control button. In the off mode, the user would see the full frame as usual. When on, the parameters as programmed would be in effect.

    You could use two albums, one with KenBurnsEffect, one without.
    Or you put your user control button in the html and switch between two web pages with two different monoslideshows.

    The other way would be just changing the parameter for the ken burns effect in the when you call the swfObject using php. Do a search for "PHP Album Switcher" on the forum.
    The only thing to note is that you need to use the php function 'get' to make it work which isn't talked about.
