I've noticed that if one used a browser's Zoom function to scale a page over 100%, the slideshow div's outer bounds scale up but the pictures do not. Try it on the demo using Opera or IE. This is the Zoom feature, not +/- type sizing only. The background (whatever you've set it to) shows through around the pictures.
I've looked at other pages with placed swf files and they seem to scale just fine (mostly).
Is there any workaround to get the slideshow swf to scale along with the rest of the page?
Yes, same effect on my website (tried in Firefox 3). I don't think there is a workaround other than using Javascript, checking the size of the div and changing the swfobject parameters (should you know how to do that, I'd be delighted for a working demo :-)
