    I want to add a frame around the slideshow and have it appear above (layer wise) the slideshow. All images on this site have a frame, so the slideshow needs to have the same look as the rest of the site. When the zoom and pan effects are used, the frame that is currently on all image gets chopped off, so I'm thinking that adding the frame to the fla is the answer. Can this be done, if so how?

    To achieve this, you need to create a png with transparency, place this png into a swf and then use this swf as a mark file (see page 17 of the manual).
