I need to change the colour of these arrows so that they show up on a white background, but can't identify their name in the manual.
Thanks for help
Jon
Jon,
you don't need any names (at least if I understand your question correctly). You need to create a complete set of arrows etc. as pictured in the manual and then create a single png file.

I believe this is what you are looking for. I went to the demo and started changing each color I came across and then hitting refresh until I changed the item color I was looking for. When I found the correct color change, I noted the settings page I was on and reloaded the entire page. Then I went to the setting that I had previously noted and made the single change. Viewed the xml and since it was the only change I had made, it stood out like a sore thumb. Copied the command and searched the manual with adobe "find" function.
Page 25 under controller element
backgroundColor #000000 background color of the controller element
iconColorDisable #7f7f78 color of icons that are disabled
iconColorDown #fffef1 color of icons when clicked
iconColorOver #f92672 color of icons when hovered over
iconColorUp #fffef1 normal color of icons
Change your colors as needed

Thanks to you both...
Jarredja - wow! Nice reverse engineering! I'm off to look into it and will report back.

PS See the arrows I'm referring to at www.propertyshoot.com/portfolio.html The 2 arrows in the bottom right-hand corner. ( I have the problem of the white arrow disappearing on a white background on another site I built with the same template ).
I should add that I'm using MSS ver 1.32. The manual only has 20 pages and a search for "controller element" comes up empty :-(
Found it! Using a similar approach to Jarredja, I kept changing the colour of any rollover elements in the XML to yellow until the arrows responded. Turns out they are called thumbnailWindowIcons (ppphhttt...but of course!)
Sorry. I missed that important detail, support 1.0, in the heading. Oops. Glad I explained my "unconventional" method. That is how I use the demo most of the time anyway. I refer to the manual first and then often go to the demo to check the code and the location in the XML. I code everything separately. That way as I add a function, if it does not work for me, I know EXACTLY where to look to make the correction. The demo is awesome for creating and being inventive.
