I've now implemented monoslideshow on my test site, <a href="http://rltvolunteers.org/new">rltvolunteers.org/new</a>. It was really easy to implement. I'm kicking myself for spending so much time on a buggy javascript method. Well worth the $20.
It all works well and as expected. Looking at the page with Firefox 1.5.0.9, it is positioned on the page in the correct place. However with IE, it appears to be down 1px. This might be a problem outside the scope of this forum, but I'm wondering if it is the way I'm calling monoslideshow. Any advice on how to eliminate the 1px gap?
Also, is it be possible to add a small "Click to read more" type graphic or text over the top of all the images (in the corner) to remind users that they can click the image to go to the related Web page? I also notice that unlike my javascript implementation, I don't see the target URL in the status bar in the browser. Is there an easy way to display that to give the astute user an idea in advance where they will go when they click?
OK I reworked the page and now the problem has gone away. Thanks anyway.
