Hi!
I want that the Russian text was displayed. That it is necessary to make, that it to realise.
Example:
<img src="03.jpg" title="? ????????" description="? ????????"/>
<img src="04.jpg" title="???????" description="???????"/>
<img src="05.jpg" title="???????? ?????" description="???????? ?????"/>
<img src="06.jpg" title="?????????" description="?????????"/>
<img src="07.jpg" title="??? ?????" description="??? ?????"/>
If in title Russian, there is an error in xml, if Russian in description Monoslideshow it is started, but is not displayed the information with description.
Please help!
You can try changing your doctype of the XML to
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
This works in another flash program I use. You can also refer to
http://www.w3schools.com/XML/xml_encoding.asp
I hope this is what you are looking for.
Thanks for the answer!
I will try to take advantage of your council.
Unfortunately change of type encoding has not result!
UTF-8 - unique coding also supports Cyrillics, something is necessary another.

xml delete
I found this article talking about russian letters in xml.
http://www.swishtalk.com/showthread.php?t=47261
Basically, they had to change the font type because the russian letters were not in the font.
Their comment
"Possible you were using a font before that didn't have those characters in it? Some fonts only have certain characters available."
Hope this helps.
I tried copy/paste from your xml into one of mine - the Russian characters showed up immediately without having changed anything else. I have not specified any font (I am in Germany, so we have Ä Ü Ö ß etc., which work fine as well).
But that is with a v2 slideshow.
With a v1 slideshow, simply nothing happened, the characters were not displayed.
So - the easiest way for you will be to spend the money on an update to v2.

I got it Christoph,
http://www.texasvirtualtours.com/mshow/box/
go to the photo1 and look in the top left.
Note: I had to use the basic notepad to paste your letters in. I usually use notepad ++ but apparently I don't have it set properly to deal with these letters. In notepad ++ it pasted the ?? ?????????? much like your first post on this board.
Jarredja,
thanks for putting up the test site. I did use Notepad++, though - strange.
Christoph
thanks for all
Yeah, probably just a small setting to change but it works so well for me that I didn't want to mess things up by making the wrong changes and not be able to get it back like I like it.
