I see a posting for this problem in the v2.0 discussions (http://www.monoslideshow.com/forum/discussion/2051/background-music-at-start/#Item_0) but no official response so I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas for this. I am using v1.32.
I am trying to set up a slideshow that has audio in the background (using BackgroundMusic) I want to be able to have it fade in when the user starts watching the slideshow. BUT I do not want it to autoPlay. It is actually voice-over audio that would not loop and somewhat aligns with the images showing. I want people to find the show they want, click play and have the slides and audio begin. The backgroundMusic just plays as soon as the user lands on the page.
Any way to get around this or is there a variable I am missing?
yeah, having the same problem, any help?
Hi Pichen,
in case you use 2.x and not the old version, you can easily use two albums, the fist one without music and the second one with the music playing, and in the first one you set onAlbumEnd="loadNextAlbum".

sorry, I didnt specify the problem, my bad. The problem is with background music. I use a still-image and music clip but the clip automatically starts playing even if the play button is not switched on. When I press play, the song starts again from the beginning. Actual question is: Is there a possibility to turn off the autoplay on music? And I use 2.x version.
Hi Pichen,
the same answer applies: Cut your album into two albums, one for the first image, the second one for the remainig images. Assign the background music to the second album only.
