MMS works fine on one server:
http://okvts.com/baker/lindahl1903-108/
But it does not work on these ones:
http://digitalvern.com/test/
http://marcdupuis.ca/test/
One of them shows the place holders and the other just a black hole.
The files and file structure is exactly the same.
I'm stumped. Hope someone can help me.
Dirk
PS: couldn't get the Insert link to work, please copy and paste - thanks
The above links to your sites work fine.
Anyway as for the problem at hand, try moving the images to the new servers too using the same paths. In other words, in the stills/images path. I tried to locate photo1.jpg but was unable to find them on the second and third test links.
That should make # 3 work anyway. I couldn't find anything different between them. Don't know about #2 but once you move the images, maybe that will help locate the problem.
Wow, thanks for the quick response Jarredja. I double-checked what you suggested and came up with this. I can locate all the images via the path specified in the monoslideshow.xml. Spelling is all right and the extensions are all as listed. But still the same on the two servers.
Could it be that something has to be configured on the server?
Here are the links to the image paths and the corresponding xml files.

Your file names are capitalized and in your xml it is not.
ex. photo1.jpg vs Photo1.jpg
on the first server, it appears you have both lower and uppercase.
Thanks Jarredja, for checking and your advice; that did it. Seems like some servers can handle both upper and lower cases and adjust for it, others don't. I fixed the case and it now works.
Cheers
Dirk
PS. This seems to be a great group, active and knowledgeble.
Just so you understand what's going on and what Jarredja lined out: Windows does not differentiate between JPG and jpg, but Linux/Unix does, and as most (but not all) web servers are Linux/Unix, it makes a difference.
