Our instance of MSS keeps requesting the same images from the server over and over again. For instance, suppose my slide show has images 1.jpg, 2.jpg, and 3.jpg. MSS downloads each image from the server as it is displayed, even if it has already downloaded the image before Given a standard rotation, 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3, etc, it will download these images repeatedly instead of just once. This puts an unnecessary bandwidth load on our servers - any suggestions?
I was also thinking about that, because I am doing MMS's for some sites with NO unlimited traffic. When the images are NOT loaded in the browsers cache, but all the time new, when they are displayed, that makes a lot of traffic. What if people leave the pages open with MMS running whole days?
So I am interesting in an answer too!
How did you find that out? With the logfiles of your server??

Found it in Firebug and Safari activity monitor.
Have you tried with any other Flash "application" that loads external media? I would be interested if it is typical Flash behaviour or not.
