   Hi,
   Not sure how the thumb generater is supposed to work. What are the steps - in order - that I need to do to generate them? And what folder is the thumb.db supposed to be in? I may have deleted it.

   Also, I use monoslideshow with wordpress via nextgen gallery. Nextgen somehow doesn't allow the public to print images. Is there a way to disable that feature in monoslideshow?

   Hi Donna,
   Monoslideshow can display thumbnails, but it does not generate them. You can, of course, use your (unchanged) images as thumbnail sources at the cost of some performance.
   You specify the folders within the xml in the album tag, see p18 of the manual.

   Ah ha! The manual. Well, first, thank you, christophvl for your response. One of my main problems is that I try to conquer anything I can without reading instructions. Bad habit!

   I just went to the xml file. I had not gone there yet. I've been doing the configuration and loading images through nextgen galleries. That process didn't require me to use the xml file. I just had to upload the images to the nextgen folders. Thumbnails have been generated somewhere in that process. But I had one that wouldn't and that's what I was trying to fix.

   There are more options if configured through monoslideshow than what nextgen's options are. So I'll try it through mono.
