Hello,
I'm trying to set up mono slideshow so that I can have a space at the bottom of the SWF where the image info and UI controls can reside so that it does not overlap the slideshow images. I've played with setting the imageAlign to "bottomCenter" and using a imageMarginY value to shift the image up however this isn't quite what I would like to see. It works ok if the images are all roughly the same size (800x600 for instance) but the trouble with this is, if you have any images that are smaller sizes they end up getting bottom aligned and it doesn't look very good. For instance I have a set of mostly 800x600 images however a few of them are panoramic, 800x200 images. It doesn't end up looking quite right when they get bottom aligned. If imageAlign is set to "center" then things look great but I can't get a bottom or top margin for the controls then.
I would really like to see a way to keep the imageAlign to be "center" so that all images regardless of their size are centered, along with a way to shift the info and control UI below (or above) the slideshow. Perhaps there could be an option to set aside some of the available display space for the info and controls via a set of options (uiReservedSpace[0-100] and uiReservedSpaceAlign [top | bottom] ?) so that I can set aside space and have it be either on the top or on the bottom. Image scaling would also have to take into account this reserved UI space so that images scale properly too.
thanks for considereing this,
david
