I'm using the nextgen gallery plugin for monoslideshow in wordpress and I'm encountering a problem. The slideshow is not centered in the theme.

I have a slideshow running om my page and it contains images with different sizes, however when I use "standing" pictures the text does not wordwrap inside the text but it wraps in the boundaries which of the entire slideshow, and not the individual pictures.

How can I change this?

[CHANGED] the default value for the attribute "framesPerSecond" is now set to 60
[FIXED] the attribute "startWithImageID" does work again
[FIXED] if a video is paused at the beginning, and the slideshow is resumed, sound will play again
[FIXED] the attributes "onBackgroundMusicEnd", "backgroundMusicVolume", "backgroundMusicNavigationVolume" do work again

I would look at using monosldieshow 2, but I don't want to be forced into using AS3 just for this simple change.

By the way the 'watch video' links are just 'jumpToImage' calls to the javascript api. The problem occurs no matter what the method of navigation to the videos. I have also tested in multiple browsers and on different computers and it is the same problem in each case.

I've already put monoslideshow working on my website but haven't been able to unlock that button up that allows me to see different
albums of images.

What happens is that it only shows me one of the gallery's when I want to be able to show the other ones, also.

Can somebody give me a help on this?

1. Put Kimili Flash Embed in your plugins folder: /wp-content/plugins/
2. Make a new folder: /wp-content/monoslideshow/
3. Upload your .SWF, .XML, images and thumbnails to this folder.
4. Make a new page in Wordpress.
5. Place this code somewhere in your new post:

6. To pass Flash variables to the Kimili code (for example, to disable the startup logo), please use this code:

<em>Note: the base tag is important! Without it, Monoslideshow wouldn't know where to look for the .XML file.</em>

This is the site www.hypnobooster.com and Im doing some testruns for the homepage but slideshow keeps showing me some weird errors.

1. When I navigate between different galleries, some previous pictures re-show themselves when changing the gallery or topic.
2. This "play-stop" bar keeps double-flashing in random moments, a weird shadow of it jumps down after the bar is dissapeared.

Anyway, they are quite minor defects but they sure mess up nice design and the flow of the site.
if anyone notices these errors and knows a solution, please let me know.

From looking at the forum & the manual, I have gathered that i have to do the following:

1. Add swf file to website. Done see www.simple-webdesign.co.uk/test.php

2. Set up xml (need help)

3. Set up folder stucture in ftp. Mine is set up like:

index.php
monoslideshow.swf
flash/249.jpg
flash/free-logo.jpg

So, from this you can gather that i need to set up the xml file and put it in the folder structure.

First of all, where should i put the xml file in the folder structure?

Secondly. Below is my xml code. Can someone be so kind to make the changes to it so that it works. I assume you have to link it to the images & swf.

I have a trouble!
Method isPlaying() always returns false in IE8. But it works fine in FireFox and Chrome.

But i'm having the following problem.

I use Wordpress and NextGen with monoslide. Yes it's show's the gallery just like i want to only there is one thing missing.....

The album button is greyed out and i can't activate or click on it.

I really need this to work cause i want to use next-gen with monoslideshow to view my portfolio of multiple galleries / albums.

Yes i used the search but none of the post helps me out.........

Whatever i try, the navigation panel is showing when the slideshow works but there showing the thumbs.....I just want to show one thumb of an album with a description and then another sinle thumb etc etc etc.

Please, who is helping me out.

at first: the same problem could be reproduced in the demo. In the Preset "default" after activating Fulscreenbutton and fullScreenSacleMode=none works correct.NOW: If you switch to the Preset "RGB seperation" and also activate the "Fullscreen possibility" as I described, the Items (Images) always Scaling to Fullscreen.

Is there a workaround for it?

EDIT: The problem appear only, if "Ken Burns" is on. Is there a possibility for defining a maxheight and maxwidth in fullscreenmode for kenburns?

I managed to install Monoslideshow into a Joomla (1.5) module. (First observation : had to use SWFobject version 1.5 for that - didn't work with version 2.2... Could be a good thing to indicate somewhere in the Monoslideshow documentation?)

Now I have a slideshow operational on my front page - in English.
However, I want my website, ultimately, to run on 2 exactly parallel versions (English & Chinese). For that purpose, I use "Joomfish", a Joomla module which enables the translation of each and every component/module etc. of a Joomla-run website.

The problem is: Joomfish fails to manage the translation of the Monoslideshow module. I created 2 separate folders on the server, each of which contains a different language version of the Monoslideshow XML file; but the English version is always the one displayed, whether in the English or the Chinese version of the site.

Any suggestions?

My monoslideshow is only displaying when I'm logged into my wordpress account and open up my site in that browser. I tried it in the same browser on a separate computer - luck. Tried it on the same computer with a different browser - no luck.

Thank you in advance for any help with this. I'm new to MSS and after about 12 hours, I have my first slide-show up and running; such a great and rewarding feeling! Ok, so I've been trying to remove the start up logo stuff; my slide show is on a white background, so I'd love the "show" to stay white until the first image appears. I have tried to add the code below via the iWeb HTML snippet and also by adding it within the .XML file too. As you have most likely noticed, I'm very new to this world and can't seem to find an answer in this forum or online. How and where does one do this?
