What exactly do I get?
You'll get a .ZIP file containing Monoslideshow as a .SWF file, an example .HTML file to see how to set things up, and the manual as a .PDF file.
Do I get updates for free?
All updates for version 2 are free. Please check back the user area every now and then for updates.
Does Monoslideshow has Flickr support?
Sure thing. You can specify a Flickr RSS feed to load the photos from. To see how it works, you can join the Monoslideshow group on Flickr to upload your own photos and see them live on the demo page.
What am I permitted to do with Monoslideshow?
When you buy Monoslideshow, you're buying a license to implement it in your website. Of course you can use the slideshow in client projects too. You cannot however resell the slideshow to others. A full license can be found here.
I have a software application or web service I'd like to bundle Monoslideshow with. What are the licensing options?
The standard license to use Monoslideshow doesn't permit reselling or embedding. However, there is a Monoslideshow OEM license available. Application is subject to approval, so please contact us with your details on how you'd like to use it.
What kind of items is Monoslideshow able to display?
Flash® player 10 is capable of loading .JPG, .PNG, .GIF and .SWF files. You can even embed movies. For a full list of movie codecs that are supported, please refer to this article.
Does Monoslideshow display a logo on the slideshow?
By default, yes. However, you can easily disable the startup logo in the slideshow. Please check the manual for instructions. Monoslideshow also provides support for a custom logo watermark.
What about sound and music?
Monoslideshow supports sounds per image and background music. Instructions are all in the manual.
What's this XML thing?
The .XML file is the configuration file for Monoslideshow. You can customize it to fit your needs. Try hitting "get XML" on our demo page to see what a typical .XML file looks like. It even automatically generates an .XML file with your preferences set!
Can I put Monoslideshow on Facebook?
There's even a special Monoslideshow Facebook app available, which you can embed on your Facebook profile page for free!
Can I use Monoslideshow in Adobe Lightroom?
Yes, you can. The Turning Gate has made a Monoslideshow Lightroom plugin to automatically populate Monoslideshow with content from your albums in Lightroom.
