    Is there a way to set it up so that clicking on the image advances to next image (like the next button)?

    Actually, you can with some configuration to the XML code. It's more of a hack than anything else.

    If you dig into it, you'll notice that the controls were made small enough to go behind the first thumbnail and the slide show does not auto play.
