Flash 10 (currently in Beta 2) supports colour management. With a calibrated system and FF3 with colour management enabled, this gives a fully colour managed browser in most circumstances for the first time. The catch is that Mono will need a little tweak in order to support CM, specifically (see here):

Color management in Flash Player 10 is implemented using ActionScript when the Flash content is created.
With property colorCorrection of Stage class, a programmer can enable or disable color management.

If you could enable colour management for Mono then this would be excellent.

I note also that the demo page here detection script (?) fails to find Flash 10 Beta 2. The good news is that the existing Mono release works fine on Flash 10, it's just that page's detection which is too strict or something.

Thanks for the tip. Monoslideshow is still AS2.0, which doesn't support colorCorrection. Maybe for an AS3.0 version in the future.

I'll look out for that. It's kind of key for showing photos. I would think it straight forward, but who knows with this stuff.

    cheers
